The Lascivious Costume Ball 2008 - MODA Fashion Show

Friday, November 14, 2008 - Anastasia was asked to take part in the revival of The University of Chicago's - The Lascivious Costume Ball. University of Chicago Students modeled Anastasia's garments from her Spring | Summer 2009 Collection in the MODA Fashion Show. There was a great mix of both students and professional designers who showed their collections.

Anastasia was overwhelmed by the response from the University of Chicago students. She was so proud of her models, they did a fantastic job! All Anastasia's models looked amazing and really did a killer job on the catwalk. The MODA organizers did an amazing job prepping all the models; teaching them how to walk, timing, and stage presence.

Background - The Lascivious Costume Ball was a University of Chicago tradtion that celebrated human sexuality in all of its various forms. Our vision is to revive this tradition while also keeping in mind the importance of raising sexual awareness. We would like to provide students of all sexual orientations an opportunity to educate each other about sexuality through our own University arts of every distinct genre - visual, musical, performance and fashion. In doing so, we would like to raise sexual awareness amongst the University community in a bright, positive, and most importantly, safe way.
